Tours & Experiences Terms & Conditions

In completing a Tours and Experiences booking with Adnams plc, you agree that you and all participants:

• Are all aged 18 or over. No children or babies (whether carried in arms/sling or pushchair) are allowed to participate in our experiences for health and safety reasons.
• Agree to wear sensible shoes. You must wear fully-enclosed flat-soled footwear (no stilettoes, high heels, flip flops or sandals). Further guidance on our sensible shoe policy can be found on your experience confirmation.
• Guests will wear the hi-vis vest we supply; remain within the designated walkways and under the direct supervision of your tour guide for the duration of your visit.
• Please be aware that Adnams Tours and Experiences in Southwold can be a challenge for visitors with restricted mobility and visitors may find the length and pace of a Brewery or Distillery Tour challenging. You are visiting a working brewery and as such, there is little or no seating along the route and there are also lots of stairs on both tours.
• Tours of the Distillery and Southwold-based 'Make Your Own Gin' sessions are unfortunately inaccessible to guests in a wheelchair. Brewery Tours are accessible at ground level, although you will not be able to take in the entire route as it will visit the second floor in the brewhouse and fermentation. Guests with restricted mobility who wish to do a 'Make Your Own Gin' experience may do so at our Norwich Westlegate or Bury St. Edmunds stores. Please call us for advice or if you have any questions on this subject.
• Prices quoted are per guest and inclusive of VAT.
• There is no car park at our Tours Centre and car parking at The Crown and The Swan is reserved for hotel residents only.

Catered Group Tours, Terms & Conditions
• All packages are available Monday to Thursday only.
• Adnams Tour & Breakfast Experiences are available all year round.
• Adnams Tour & Lunch Experiences run from November to March only (excluding the February half term).

In completing a Catered Group Tour booking with Adnams plc, you agree that you and all participants will abide by our terms and conditions:
• Please choose one package per group.
• Minimum of eight guests per group. If numbers drop below eight, the group will be charged for a minimum of eight places.
• Final guest numbers and menu choices must be finalised one week in advance of the date you are due to visit.
• All guests must be aged 18 or over. No children or babies, whether carried in arms, sling or pushchair are allowed to participate in our experiences for health and safety reasons.
• Guests agree to wear sensible shoes. You must wear fully enclosed flat-soled footwear (no stilettoes, high heels, flip flops, sandals, or bare feet).
• Our tours can be a challenge for guests with restricted mobility and some guests may find the length and pace of a Brewery or Distillery Tour challenging. You are visiting a working brewery and as such, there is no seating along the route and there are steep staircases on both tours.
• Guests will wear the hi-vis vest we supply; remain within the designated walkways and under the direct supervision of your tour guide for the duration of your visit.
• Adnams Tours and Experiences shall have the right at any time (giving as much notice as possible) to change the format of this experience or to cancel this booking in the event of Adnams properties or any part, therefore, being closed due to circumstances beyond our control. We will always endeavour to keep the experience as true to type as possible, but we reserve the right to amend our operations when essential.
• Beer tastings are available on the Brewery Tour.
• Spirit tastings are available on the Distillery Tour.
• Prices quoted are per guest and inclusive of VAT.
• Bookings are held provisionally for one week only, and then full payment is required. If full payment is not received the booking will be deleted from the system.
• There is no car park at our Tours Centre and car parking at The Crown and The Swan is reserved for hotel residents only.
• Breakfast and lunch will be served in an area of The Crown restaurant or an alternative, nearby Adnams venue if it becomes necessary to change.

Changes to your booking:
• You have the right to cancel a booking for a specific tour or experience within a period of 7 days, from the point of making your booking. Guests booking their experience within seven days are able to cancel their booking up until 24 hours before the start of their experience. Guests booking on the day of their experience waive their right to cancellation.
• After this initial seven day cancellation period, guests looking amend their booking are able to transfer to a new date and time, subject to giving a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, prior to their original booking via email or phone.
• We are unable to exchange the original experience payment for alternative Adnams services, products or E-Gift Cards.
• Adnams Tours now have a minimum attendance policy. We will look to run tours with at least five places filled and may have to cancel tours that do not reach this number. Under these circumstances we will endeavour to move you to an alternative, viable tour if possible. If we take this decision, we will contact you by telephone or email if we do not reach you. We will aim to give you as much notice as possible.
• Adnams Tours and Experiences shall have the right at any time (giving as much notice as possible to the guest) to change the format of this experience or to cancel this booking in the event of Adnams properties or any part therefore being closed due to circumstances beyond our control. This includes but is not limited to the reactive implementation of precautions to protect staff and customers against coronavirus. We will always endeavour to keep the experience as true to type as possible, but this may not always be possible in the current circumstances.
• If Adnams cancels a tour for any reason we will endeavour to move your booking to a suitable alternative time and if we are unable to do so we will refund the cost of the tour to you. We shall have no further liability to you in relation to any cancelled tour.
